Physical Plant
The Physical Plant at Texas Tech University has been recognized over the years for excellence in Facilities Management. Awards include the CAPPA Regional Award for Excellence for 1989 and 1990 and the APPA International Award for Excellence for 1990 and 2001.
Physical Plant is a Service organization responsible for the planning, construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair of university buildings and facilities; and the provision of utilities, vehicle rental, refuse collection, custodial and other services essential to the mission of Texas Tech University.
